Baby and children casting appointments take about 45 minutes in our studio, or about an hour in your home. Family Sculpture and Body Casting appointments vary.
What if my baby moves?
Children move - that's reality. Our casting material is designed with this in mind.
Rarely a mold is damaged by a little movement, but we will know immediately if it is and will
re-cast your child right away if necessary.
Will you come to our home or hospital?
Yes. We offer mobile services for clients who can't get to our studio, anywhere in the
Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
What kind of casting material is my child touching?
We use 100% safe products for our castings. Dental Alginate, the same product dentists
use to cast your teeth, is what your child is touching.
How long will our product last?
Generations! With over 8 years of casting experience, and using the very best products
available, we create products that will last lifetimes.
How much does it cost?
Every product has a different cost depending on the number of castings and any framing
involved. Look in our "Products" categories for
more pricing information, or Contact Us for a detailed quote.
When do we pay and how?
We take at least 50% as a deposit at the original casting appointment. The balance is payable
upon completion. Cash, checks and major credit cards are accepted.
Are you committed to a greener planet?
Yes. Our shadow boxes are created from sustainable products. Our molds are composted when
finished. We use water-soluble and planet-friendly paints and glues.
And our studio vehicle is a Toyota Prius Hybrid!
Can we keep the mold, in case we want another copy later?
Our Alginate molds are water-based and deteriorate immediately after use. Therefore it is
best to order additional copies at the time of casting. We can make a permanent rubber molds
for you if necessary, at an added cost.
