A "Love Sculpture" is what we call any free-standing sculpture of two or more hands intertwined. Hand position is of your choice and everyone notices the love in the sculpture above all else. Detail will be captured right down to the fingerprints, and we encourage you to wear your wedding rings or other meaningful jewelry.

Love Sculptures are very popular as Wedding and Anniversary projects, as well as sculptures of children and their parents or grandparents. Entire families can also be captured, however the youngest member must be at least 3 years of age. There is no limit to the number of people involved.

Process:

First we find the correct hand position to for the finished sculpture. Any position is possible to cast, so we play with it until with find the right one. For standing sculptures with only two people, we will lower the clasped hands into a bucket for Dental Alingate for about 1 minute, then remove cleanly.

For more than 2 members, a skin casting rubber is applied to the hands, followed by a hard shell of Plaster Bandage. This process takes about 20 minutes.

Love sculptures start at $300 for two hands in any free-standing position, and we add roughly $75 for each additional person. Contact us for a firm quote.
