Once every decade or so…

It is so true: at Memory Castings, we are artists and not computer gurus. For that reason, it has been about a decade since we made a serious upgrade to our marketing materials, imaging, and especially our website.

But we have actually changed a lot over the years. We went from being predominantly studio-based, to recognizing the need to be in-home with our clients. We have discovered the core of who we are as a business, especially as we mature as parents and people (I, myself, was only 19 years old when I began learning the art of lifecasting, and 24 when I launched Memory Castings). We went from 600 square feet in the basement of my home to being in three cities across Western Canada, with plans to take our the world. We went from just me, to a team of 7 amazing artists and makers.

So, it was time. On the cusp of this -our 14th anniversary as a business- we have launched a new website, and have embraced our new image. The gold and teal you see today is a nod to the historical. It reflects an appreciation of the finer things. Those that are well-made, and well-cherished. Much like your children, grandparents, pets, and special someone’s.

The site is still buggy. It probably always will be (but please feel free to tell us about the bugs so we can make an effort to repair)

But still, we welcome you.
